Following are general guidelines for use of the property by members along with specific rules related to private parties on the property.

1. Association members and guests may use the water for recreation at their own risk. There is NO LIFEGUARD. You are solely responsible for yourself, your family and your guests.

2. NO ONE is allowed to climb in or on the drain pipe located adjacent to the southerly fence. Members must prevent children and others in their parties from using this pipe for any purpose.

3. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult AT ALL TIMES.

4. All guests must be accompanied by the member who invited them.

5. Fires on the property must be contained to grills or fire pits. Fires may not be built directly in the sand, in the grass or in the parking area.

6. Grills are available for use by members. Members must bring their own charcoal and must clean the grill after use. There are tools in the shed for cleaning the grill.

7. A fire pit is available for use by members. Members are responsible for the fire is completely put out before leaving the beach.

8. Umbrellas are available in the equipment room and should be returned after use.

9. All toys or other association property removed from the equipment room for use during member visits must be returned to the shed for storage.

10. If you see trash on the beach, please pick it up. Plastic garbage bags are stored in the shed. If there are no plastic bags in the shed, please alert a board member via email or phone so that replacements can be obtained.

11. All boats stored on the beach must be registered with the Board. Boats must have identifying Beachway sticker and assigned number that will allow the board members to contact boat owners in case of emergency.

12. Small boats must be stored on the dinghy rack provided. Members are responsible for storing their own boats.

13. Non-members may not store or launch their boats from the property.

14. All boats that are over-wintered on the property must be secured to the dinghy rack. No boats or kayaks may be left unsecured.

15. When leaving the property, make sure all doors are securely locked.

16. If you unlock the main gate to gain access to the property and plan to leave the property to go boating, you must relock the gate before setting out. The main gate must not remain unlocked with no one on the property.  Likewise be sure to lock when you leave for the day.

17. Cars are to be parked perpendicular to the fence on the eastern side of the property. Use care when entering and parking as the area allows for limited maneuverability. If you must park on the street, do not park on the road immediately outside the eastern fence. Please use the road that runs perpendicular to the shore so as to allow for traffic to easily pass by the gate and around the bend.

18. Members are responsible for the care of the restroom. The facility may not be used as an amusement area – no water fights, no toilet paper games, no hide and seek inside the building.

19. If there are no sanitary supplies available (toilet paper, hand towels), please inform one of the board members by email. A list of members, including identification of board members, is posted inside the restroom.

20. Please take all trash home.

RULES RELATED TO PARTIES ON THE PROPERTY – Parties are subject to the same guidelines as general use of the property, as well as the following:

1. Members wishing to hold a party on the property must request through the website under the For Members header

2. Members must be current on dues to be granted private party rights.

3. No more than one party can be held on the property at any given time, unless the hosts agree to share the space for separate parties.

4. The property is NOT closed to other members during private parties.

5. If members wish to use the property during a private party, please be advised that party hosts have priority in regard to use of association property during their party (grills, canopy, umbrella, tables, chairs, fire pit, etc).

6. Parties must be carefully supervised by a responsible adult member, who has requested and been given permission from the social chair.

7. Parties must be managed so as not to offend our neighbors and to avoid the risk of damages to our property and facility.

8. Members are required to do a thorough clean-up of parties. Under no circumstances may trash bags be left on the property. Please take all trash home.
